The Northwest Texan Softball Program has seen much success in the last few years finishing in the final four in both 2005 and 2006. In 2007 the team finished as the 5-5A District Champions and the 5A Region 1 Semi-Final Champions. The 2008 team finished as the 5-5A District Champions & 2008 Area Champions.
2009 will be another great year with 6 returning starters! Work hard in the off-season girls and we will be back next year to continue the NORTHWEST winning tradition! GO NORTHWEST TEXANS! Being a part of high school softball takes dedication and practice. The coaches at Northwest believe that a positive team-oriented attitude and a desire to give your best on and off the field exemplifies our program. The key is not the "will to win" - everybody has that. It is the will to prepare to win that is important - Bobby Knight. Winning isn't everything, but wanting to win is - Vince Lombardi. Players win games, teams win championships - Bill Taylor.
